Vocal Acting
Ages 10-14
Mondays, January 29th-April 15th

This class will dive into the beautiful world of vocal acting, and cumulate in a radio drama of short sketches. More information regarding the end production will follow.

Actors will have the opportunity to work with sound effects, develop character vocals, and learn to ACT with their voice.

 

Other technique actors will learn and work on:

• Vocal energy and technique

• Timing and breathing

• Script annotation

• Mic etiquette with basic vocal recording equipment

• Writing scripts...for the radio!

Good to know:

• If your actor took this class before, please know the curriculum is similar with some new and improved lessons.

• This class will include reading out loud, and take home work/assignments. They'll be fun!

• Joelle has been recording and portraying characters vocally since she could speak, and formally training and working in vocal acting since 2021. She is excited to present this class to the community, and share another beautiful element of acting.

• February 26th's class will be an online assignment with no in person class. It will be EPIC!

• There will be NO class on April 1st due to Spring Break.

• There is a limit of 10 actors for this class.

• No refunds will be issued after January 22nd.

• The cost for this class is $150.00.
